Portland Youth Philharmonic- Camerata PYP – Winter Concert

Camerata PYP’s Winter Concert highlights three outstanding student soloists and a mix of lively, character-driven works.

Pianist Elijah Wilson performs Joaquín Turina’s Rapsodia Sinfónica, blending Spanish dance rhythms with romantic energy.

Saxophonist Jacob Peizner takes the stage for Glazunov’s Concerto in E-flat major, a cornerstone of the saxophone repertoire.

Violinist Kaylee Nah performs Wieniawski’s Polonaise de concert No. 1, filled with technical brilliance and bold themes.

The program also includes Copland’s Three Latin American Sketches and Mozart’s Symphony No. 28, balancing vibrant color with classical clarity.
