Pre-Registration is open from October 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024 by 11:59:59 PM. Beginning January 1, 2025, rates increase.

OpusEvent Conference Registration Instructions

  • Registration for the OMEA teacher’s conference is online through the website Register.OpusEvent.com
  • It is not necessary to log into our OMEA website to register for the conference.
  • Instead, an account with OpusEvent is required, as well as a current NAfME/OMEA membership for membership pricing.

Registrations marked with a *** do not include a banquet ticket. All other pre-registrations include a complimentary banquet ticket. Banquet ticket sales end at 4:00 PM the Monday prior to the conference.

Conference Registration Payment

Credit Card – OMEA prefers teachers/schools pay via credit card through the OpusEvent website.

Purchase Orders & Checks – OMEA does not send out invoices automatically to teachers or schools. If your school requires an invoice (and will not accept the auto-generated registration confirmation email from no-reply@opusevent.com) teachers/schools must request from the OMEA office at executivedirector@oregonmea.org.

OpusEvent Website Troubleshooting

  1. Log into your OpusEvent account
  2. Click on your Profile (top right corner of the site)
  3. Scroll down to Membership Information
  4. Click on the small Pencil Icon next to your name
  5. A small window will pop-up, click on Update. This action will tell OpusEvent and the NAfME website to "talk" to each other and sync/update your membership expiration information.

Your NAfME/OMEA membership information must be refreshed/synced with your OpusEvent account manually every year. To do this, follow the instructions below. Then, you should have access to the correct registration forms.

  1. Log into your OpusEvent account.
  2. Click on your Profile (top right corner of the site)
  3. Scroll down to Membership Information
  4. Click on the small Pencil Icon next to your name.
  5. A small window will pop-up, click on Update.

The OpusEvent website and the NAfME website do not automatically sync. Members must tell the sites to do this manually. Follow the instructions below to refresh your membership expiration information in your OpusEvent account.

  1. Log into your OpusEvent account.
  2. Click on your Profile (top right corner of the site)
  3. Scroll down to Membership Information
  4. Click on the small Pencil Icon next to your name.
  5. A small window will pop-up, click on Update.
  1. Go to https://register.opusevent.com/ and under the Sign-In button, click on the words, Create an Account
  2. Fill in the initial information and follow the steps to verify your account. You will receive an e-mail that contains a six digit PIN. (If you don't see it, check your spam/junk folder for a message from no-reply@opusevent.com)
  3. Enter the PIN on the page in OpusEvent.
  4. Complete the rest of your account information.
  5. Click on Create User button to complete your account set-up.
    Wait! You're not done!
  6. Link your NAfME/OMEA membership account to your OpusEvent account.
  7. Log in to your OpusEvent account.
  8. Click on your Profile (top right corner of the site).
  9. Scroll down to Membership Information and click on Link A New Membership.
  10. Fill in your NAfME ID number and the email address connected with your NAfME account.
  11. Click Save.
  12. Click on the Home icon to return to the main menu and view registration options.

Yes - please do! You can merge any/all duplicate/extra accounts you might have in OpusEvent into one account. Follow the steps below to do this (we appreciate it!)

  1. Log into your OpusEvent account
  2. Click on your Profile (top right corner of the site)
  3. At the top of your profile page you will see "Do you have multiple OpusEvent accounts? You can merge them together" Click on the hyperlinked word merge and follow the instructions
