Li Kuang is Assistant Professor of Music at Portland State University, where he teaches trombone, music theory, chamber music, and directs the PSU Trombone Choir. Previously, he held teaching positions at Murray State University, the University of Texas at Austin, Southwestern University, and Blinn College. An Edwards and Ultimate Brass Artist, Li maintains an active career as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer, with appearances at the International Trombone Festival, American Trombone Workshop, Big XII Trombone Conference, and Jinbao Festival. He has performed with the Oregon Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Paducah Symphony, and Chengdu Philharmonic.
