David Blake holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Western Oregon University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from George Fox University. He currently teaches Band at Corvallis High School and Drama and Choir at Cheldelin Middle School, both in Corvallis, Oregon. In addition to his teaching roles in the Corvallis School District, David is an instructor of Music Education at Oregon State University, teaching Brass Pedagogy. David’s primary instrument is trumpet, with experience performing in wind ensembles, jazz bands, symphony orchestras, chamber ensembles, and more. Currently, you can see him performing with the Oregon Brass Society.
