Dana Henson is the Director of Bands at Oregon City High School and has been a music educator in Oregon for 20 years. He holds a BS in Music and MAT in Music Education from Oregon State University. This is Dana’s first time serving as a District Chair and first appointment with OMEA as the Conference Exhibitor and Sustaining Member Chair. Dana is also a staff member for the Oregon Ambassadors of Music. He is looking forward to working with other great music educators from across the state to make music stronger in Oregon. When he is not directing the bands, Dana can be found camping around the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two boys.
