
Benjamin Adams has been actively involved in music education for 22 years. In 2004, Mr. Adams graduated from Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education while studying the oboe. Early in his career, he taught middle school band in Florida and pursued an interest in color guard and dance in the Portland Metro Area. He returned to his home state of Florida in 2012 to pursue his music education career as the assistant band director at Fleming Island High School near Jacksonville, Florida. He was an active member of FMEA and the Florida Bandmasters Association.
Mr. Adams moved to Hillsboro, Oregon in 2019 where he continued his career as the band director at Glencoe High School. Currently, he is the NWAPA Past President and Secondary Music TOSA for the Hillsboro School District.
