Mariachi is a growing area of music study in Corvallis, bringing musical and leadership opportunities to students of all backgrounds and ages. As director of one of the first middle school Mariachi programs established in Oregon, Gollmann is committed to continuing to develop and maintain musical excellence for this younger age group, and to celebrate the rich cultural significance of this incredible art form. She looks forward to collaborating with other educators to bring mariachi to greater prominence within Oregon communities and schools. It is an honor to serve as a Mariachi Co-Chair alongside Lesslie Nuñez!
