PERFORMANCE INFORMATION SHEET for Room Monitors
Please remember that every ensemble must present the room manager with THIS FORM. Please print enough out for each ensemble and have them complete it LEGIBLY.
ADJUDICATOR MUSIC SCORES
PLEASE REMIND ALL ENSEMBLES THAT THEY MUST HAVE 3 ORIGINAL COPIES OF THEIR PIECES.
I have found that publishers are willing to allow copies to be made for one performance such as this. However, it is CRITICAL that a letter/email establishing that permission has been granted for copies to be made is included with each copy.
- If your ensemble is performing a piece that is within the public domain, please have them attach a note signifying this.
- If your ensemble is performing a piece that was downloaded through a sheet music service (like JW Pepper’s ePrint), please have them bring a receipt to show proof of purchase for 3 copies.
VERIFICATION FORM FOR PRINTED AND COPIED MUSIC SCORES
If the judges will be looking at printed/copied scores, the student will need to get them verified.
- Use this FORM. It must be completed and signed by the director.
- Please provide the documentation required by the form.
- When you arrive with printed / copied “originals” needing this form, please stop in the college theater lobby to have your paperwork verified.
- Your printed/copied scores will receive a stamp that acknowledges the authenticity of the scores so the judges need not be concerned
EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED TO KNOW, BUT DIDN’T THINK TO ASK
Here is some VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION that should be shared with your students. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL TEACHERS REFRESH THEIR MEMORY AND READ ALL OF THIS INFORMATION THOROUGHLY.
A SEPARATE EMAIL WAS SENT TO PERCUSSION ENSEMBLE TEACHERS WITH AN EQUIPMENT LIST OF WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE SITE FOR YOUR USE.
FINAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- We will have an info table with maps in the lobby of the college theater for those that forget to print out the one provided below.
- Judges score sheets will be made available at a table in the lobby of the College Theater after your last group has been tabulated.
