Description
The oldest building at Cloverdale School was built in 1910 on land that originally belonged to Daniel Delany, who came from Tennessee in 1843. Cloverdale was named because it was located in what had once been a clover field. In 1933, Pleasant View and Summit Schools closed so students attended Cloverdale, and in 1939, Battle Creek students began attending here also. Grades one through twelve were taught here. It was known as School District 144 until it consolidated with Cascade School District in 1994
