OMEA Advocacy Committee: September Meeting

All are welcome and PDUs are available to those to attend. All meeting will be held on Google Meet at this link: https://meet.google.com/ykw-gsrd-twk

The goals of this committee are:

• Collaborate statewide on advocacy challenges and successes
• Collect real-time information to be shared with decision makers, and share templates for contacting decision makers on a monthly cycle
• Discuss best practices for local-level advocacy
• Plan logistics about two major advocacy events: Oregon Hill Day (February 2026) and Music In Our Schools Month® (March 2026)
