Paul Swardstrom is the Band Director at Tumwater Middle School in Oregon, where he has taught since the school opened in 2021. He has been an educator for 28 years, including 17 years as a band director. His teaching career spans multiple schools in Oregon, Illinois, and Arizona, including seven years at Findley Elementary School in Beaverton. Paul holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Arizona State University and a Master’s Degree in Conducting from the American Band College of Southern Oregon University. He is an active member of NAfME, OMEA, and OBDA.
