Keith Chaiet is the Director of Bands at Mountain View High School in Bend, Oregon. Keith earned his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Idaho and a Master of Music in Conducting from Southern Oregon University. With over 25 years of experience as a music educator, Keith is passionate about building culture in the classroom, advocating for the performing arts, and collaborating with his music educator colleagues. Keith is proud to have worked with bands and students representing Mountain View High School at local, regional, and state festivals. He and his wife Erin have two daughters who share his passion for music. When not directing the bands at Mountain View, Keith enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing a round of golf, and growing a beard.
