Allison Hedgepeth has taught elementary school music for 23 years in Kansas, California, and Oregon. For the last 18 years she has been teaching at Forest Hills Elementary School in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Allison graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors of Music Education and Portland State University with a Masters of Music in Education. Allison has completed the first level of Orff training and all four levels of Kodaly training. She is currently the All-State Elementary School Choir Co-Manager, OMEA District 14 Elementary Honor Choir Manager, and the OMEA District 14 Chair. Allison was the 2023 recipient of OMEA’s Excellence in Elementary Music Education Award.
