Description
Students perform in three musical concerts a year: Christmas, Winter and Spring, as well as contribute musically in several school Masses. Students take general Exploring Music classes, learn part singing and sight reading in first through sixth grades, and receive violin and string instruction in their fourth grade year. The Elementary School orchestra is open to grades 1-6 and the Handbell Teams are open to 5th and 6th graders. Our rich music program is led by Sr. Denise Klaas who has taught on campus for nearly 20 years, including serving as a private lesson instructor at Valley Catholic Music School.
