Description
Maplewood is a neighborhood K–5 school nestled in a residential area, with neighborhood boundaries including historic Multnomah Village. Rated Exceptional on the State of Oregon Report Card, Maplewood is known for its emphasis on a well-rounded education for all students. Certified specialists teach music, computer technology, PE and library. The school is also known for high community and parent involvement; parents are welcomed to be part of the school in many different ways, ranging from fund-raising, or ‘fun-raising,’ and educational learning activities. Plans are underway to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Maplewood.
