Jacksonville is also the home of the nationally renowned Peter Britt Music Festival. Outstanding concerts are held in a modern outdoor theater on a hillside overlooking the Rogue Valley. The Britt Festivals organization is the summer home for the Oregon Symphony and other top name entertainment in several different musical styles. Many visual and performing artists live and work in Jacksonville.
